熊猫在线视频 will host 鈥淭he Gift of Music: A Memorial Tribute to David P. Roossien鈥 on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Jack H. Miller Center for the Musical Arts.
The public is invited and admission is free.
The concert will honor the generosity and legacy of David P. Roossien, whose commitment to the keyboard program and Department of Music had a profound and lasting impact.
The program will feature performances on the Casavant Organ and Steinway Concert Grand Piano by alumni David Heinze 鈥17 and Aaron Goodyke 鈥16, together with professors David Keep and Huw Lewis. The performers will also share personal reflections on Roossien鈥檚 influence.
Selections will include works by C茅sar Franck, Dieterich Buxtehude, Johann Sebastian Bach, L奴cija Gar奴ta, and Marcel Lanquetuit, as well as congregational hymns 鈥淧raise, My Soul, the King of Heaven鈥 and 鈥淭he Doxology.鈥 Closing remarks will be offered by Dean of the Arts and Humanities, Stephen Maiullo.
