熊猫在线视频鈥檚 Center for Leadership is hosting its second 鈥淟ead With Hope: Authentic Leadership Retreat鈥 May 27-29 at its campus in Holland. Registration is due by May 1.

The leadership retreat agenda is designed for mid- to senior-level leaders, managers and emerging executives across business, healthcare, education, nonprofit or ministry settings, who wish to grow in self-awareness, clarity and impact, and live into their unique strengths. 

Attendees can expect to recharge and develop fresh, authentic leadership strategies based on their strengths. Using interpersonal competency assessments, the experience will be highly personal and reflective, to enhance both personal effectiveness and team performance.

Cost: 

  • Retreat Only: $1,950 (includes all assessments, course materials and meals). With 2-nights lodging at the Haworth Hotel in downtown Holland: $2,400
  • Nonprofit leaders: Program cost is $1,463/$1,800 with lodging included

The in-person retreat will be hosted on the 熊猫在线视频 campus, Wednesday, May 27 starting at 2 p.m., and it concludes Friday, May 29 at 4 p.m. Following the retreat, participants will be invited to attend a virtual meeting to reflect on insights and design sustainable leadership practices.

Facilitator:  Dr. Ryan White is the associate dean for leadership development and applied learning at Hope. An accomplished author, athletic coach, faith leader and facilitator, he holds a doctorate in educational psychology from USC and has a passion for bringing out the best in organizations, teams and individuals.

Presenters:

Matt Scogin - Before he became the 14th president of 熊猫在线视频, he had a distinguished career in both the corporate and government sectors. He served as chief administrative officer at Perella Weinberg Partners in New York City and held senior positions at the NYSE and US Treasury department. He鈥檚 a 2002 熊猫在线视频 graduate and holds a master鈥檚 degree in public policy from Harvard University. 

- Her expertise extends far beyond her leadership as Hope鈥檚 head women鈥檚 volleyball coach and innovative educator at 熊猫在线视频. She led Hope鈥檚 volleyball team to its 2014 NCAA D3 national championship, and to four NCAA final four trips. She facilitates workshops that challenge participants to develop innovative solutions for complex problems, blending her understanding of team dynamics with solution designs. She achieved her master鈥檚 degree in sports studies from Miami University and authored 鈥淰olleyball: Steps to Success.鈥

Dr. Lauren Hearit - As associate professor of management at 熊猫在线视频, Dr. Hearit has focused her research on the intersection of economics, strategic communication and organizational communication. She holds certifications in two related fields: international strategic communication (from Copenhagen Business School in Denmark) and applied management principles (Purdue鈥檚 Krannert School of Management). She joined the Hope faculty in 2017 and was selected by the Hope graduating class of 2025 for the Hope Outstanding Professor Educator Award. She holds her master鈥檚 degree in public affairs and issues management from Purdue University and her doctorate in organizational communication, also from Purdue.
